Time to fertilize!

How exciting is this?

Take a look at how quickly my plants have grown. . .

These plants have already sent out their second set of leaves. (The rudbeckia has just the one large one to start)

I use 14-14-14 to fertilize my seedlings and I place one pellet in each corner of the plant cell.

Sunshine, warmer temperatures, and new green growth. . .

Spring is on it's way.

Your seedlings look great. So healthy looking. You must be doing everything right! I didn't know you could grow Rudbeckia from seed. Brenda

Niether did I! This particular variety ('Brillant') is doing very well. The 'Goldsterm' is not doing well at all. Germination was very low and the plants are much smaller. I suspect old seed, which can happen even when you buy new seed. :( oh well , It's fun to try new things!

These look amazing Rosa! I can't imagine how much the greenhouse has changed in the 2 weeks that we're away....
